- - tent
- - air bed or sleeping mat, you must have some kind of mat to sleep on.
- - Pillow, it's worth the trouble.
- - sleeping bags, blankets. Bring more if you have. Most sleeping bags are probably too hot if enclosed. So it might help to have separate pieces
- - clothes: for hot day and cold night. General rule, bring more than you thank need, thick and thin, short and long, you might want to change more often than you think
- - shoes: sandals for casual and water and hiking shoes for walking and cold night. And more, you might want a pair of extra clean easy slip on to walk in your tent. The ground could be really bad and impossible to walk on barefooted.
- - hats, sunglasses
- - books, magazine, just for the sake of pretending
- - swimming suites, trunk, life jacket, float, we may get a boat rented.
- - sun creams, medicine box, first aids kits, misc. stuff you can think
- - shower towels, soap, shampoo, toothbrush and etc. There is warm-water shower facility, at least I hope. And a warm shower in a cold outdoor morning is such a enjoyment you will never forget.
- - folding/camping chairs if you have
- - rain gear, umbrella
- - large piece of plastics or picnic cloth if you have
- - camping light/lantern, battery or propane powered
- - flashlights
- - camera, video camera, cell phone, charger
- - walkie-talkie if you have those
- - mosquito, insects propelling device and stuff, no idea what they are, might need to check out Home Depot.
- - some extra batteries
- - replacement glasses or contacts for some of us.
- - fun tools guys have, like those combo Swiss knife, you never know when you just want one small sharp tool.
- - small toolset, hammer, rope, ax, saw, shovel, if you have small ones, we may set up a camp fire
- - toys, balls, games and whatever your kids' or your favorite
- - fishing poles and stuff, not a good chance.
- - Our tent sites do come with electric. So bring whatever civilization convenience you can't live without.
- - I am also thinking if there is some kind of a big screening net thing that can block mosquitoes, bugs and you can tape it onto the car window. In case you want to sleep in the car, you can keep a window open which will make hell of a difference.
